DELHI COMMONWEALTH GAMES: DAY 2 UPDATES

12: 00 PM-  CWG Hockey: Pakistan beat Scotland 3-0  

Pakistan, looking far from impressive, still carried enough firepower to down Scotland 3-0 in a pool A men's hockey match of the 19th Commonwealth Games, here Tuesday.

Leading 2-0 at half-time, Pakistan scored through Shakeel Abbasi, Rehan Butt and Muhammad Imran.

11:35 AM- Commonwealth Games: Anisa Syyed and Rahi Sarnobat win Gold medal in 25m standard pistol pairs event

10:55 AM- CWG women's hockey: England beat Wales 4-1  

Women's hockey gold medal favourites England began their campaign with a 4-1 win against Wales at the 19th Commonwealth Games at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium here Tuesday.

A hat-trick by penalty corner specialist Crista Cullen was the highlight of the match. Charlotte Caddock completed the tally before Sarah Thomas, the Great Britain international, pulled one back for Wales. 

10:25 AM - Abhinav Bindra, Gagan Narang bag gold for men's 10 m air rifle pair's event 

Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang Tuesday bagged the gold for the men's 10 m air rifle pair's event, getting India its first gold in the 19th Commonwealth Games. The pair broke the Games record they had set four years ago in Melbourne.
